A high-energy, goal-driven, professional educator, Dr. Dabney approaches educational challenges with fundamental aptitude for creative problem-solving and measured results for academic improvement. She began her career in TRiO at Danville Community College, Danville, VA gaining extensive TRiO training to earn a promotion as Program Director. Dr. Dabney has a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Technology from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA; a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership, and recent Doctorate in Education degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA. Dr. Dabney is active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations including serving as Chair for city of Danville, VA Social Services Advisory Board; Board Member for city of Danville, VA Community Improvement Council; and active member of Danville Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
