About   (request update)
Current Whereabouts:
Currently I am at home living with my parents in Portland Texas after completing 1 ½ years of school at Prairie View A&M University. The reason I am home is because all my finical aid was taking away from me due to my dads income which I see none of ironically. So now I am working and saving money to get back in school and continue my dreams of playing college football and getting my college degree in electrical engineering.
Education   (request update)
Prairie View A&M University class of 2009
Undergrad Major: Electrical Engineering
Claim To Fame:
“Johnson gets the hand off”…”Breaks to the outside”…”Shakes a would-be tackler now it’s a footrace! The 40 the 30…10, 5 touchdown Prairie View A&M Panthers!” As you can see my claim to fame while in school is helping Prairie View achieve its first winning football season since 1988. I love football, not just offense or defense but the game of football. Everything that goes into the aspect of the game from being recruited and practicing to playing Saturday nights and graduation, the game means much more to me than just winning and losing. It is a way of life which is why it is very important for me to accomplish my goal of helping P.V. achieve a winning season. After college however everybody is not offered the exclusive opportunity to continue there career as an actual football player. But as stated earlier in this essay football is a way of life for me and even if not given the opportunity to continue playing football after college I will be striving to improve the game in all areas. Through my anticipated degree in electrical engineering I will stay close to the game helping with stadiums and other facilities that players and fans use accordantly. My claim to fame overall is to show people my love and devotion to the game of football it really means so much more than a touchdown to me.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment in college: Everybody has had that 8am class…and I would say more than most of us end up skipping it at least one time or another. Well for me that class was everyday algebra and trigonometry 8am sharp and lets just say it wasn’t the easiest class to wake up for at 7 in the morning. Since my class was the unusual five days a week my excuse would be “I’ll just go tomorrow.” You know enjoying the newfound freedom of a college freshman wake up finish the rest of my classes with the normal attitude finally I’m done with class now I can just sit down and relax. Sitting in the room doing nothing letting the day drift by hour after hour, homework…I’ll do it later, study…it can wait, practice…I can skip one day right. What is going down tonight where is the party? That’s the only question on my mind and the only thing I want to do now! Little did I know my most memorable and really my first big moment in college was about to happen. I’m at the party feeling good hanging with my new friends meeting new friends and just having a good time. Such a good time it looks like I might have to miss that 8am class one more time could be a long night. And that’s when it happens a fight at the end of the party one thing happened after another and a gun was pulled unfortunately for me I was all to close to the action looking down the barrel of the pistol. And that’s when I suddenly realize in that terrifying second that my life could be taken from me in an instant with or without my consent. Luckily for me he realized I had nothing to do with it and did not pull the trigger. But more importantly I realized how short and fragile life is and I am not invincible. Meaning that 8am class I skipped the hours I sat in my room doing nothing pushing today’s task onto tomorrows work load...which isn’t even promised to me was illogical and made me see my life completely different. I no longer dread waking up for the 8am class no longer sit in my room and do nothing I no longer take for granted the day, instead I tackle each task as it were my last chance to do so!
