Claim To Fame:

Within a two week time frame, our school was honored to have a discussion led by the renowned Dr. Cornell West and a concert starring the rising hip-hop icon Kanye West. I had the opportunity to meet them both briefly and found it funny and ironic how that they are both famous, both phenomenal, and both have similar sounding names. If only you could have been here to experience the confusion people went through.

Most Memorable Moment:

One of my most memorable moments was the process of development that I went through in running for Miss Bowie State University. I had to make the decision to run agaisnt three close friends because we all were qualified, had a desire, and felt an obligation to run. Although, I did win the title of Miss BSU, I learned alot about myslef during the campaign trail and I improved immensely in my professional skills and my ability to articulate and communicate my ideas clearly. This experienced also sincerely strenghtened the friendship that I already had with my 2 running mates. And the three of us will reign as one of the most memorable, productive, and service-oriented royal courts that our school has ever seen.
