About   (request update)
I am one in a million. Plenty of people claim the same thing however they really don’t know what it means to be, one in a million. I am the oldest of three kids, first to go to college in my immediate family, determined and self motivated. I was always put down growing up. I was not fortunate to have mommy and daddy around. My father completely walked out of my life. When my parents were together it was a very a unhealthy relationship. I’ve seen and had to deal with a lot of grown up issues at an early age. I was put down and told that would never amount to anything. Through all the mental abuse I’ve dealt with I have overcome and still turned out to be a respectable young lady. I have goals and dreams of being successful. I never let life’s troubles get me down to the point that I want to quit. That’s not an option.
My Interview Question
Why did you choose to attend a HBCU?
Current Whereabouts:
I enjoy the simple things in life. Not too materialistic and I’m just me. I love reality television, relaxing at the beach, ice skating, and play a good game of sudoku.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Success leaves footprints and I want to leave some footprints for someone else to follow in.
Education   (request update)
Florida Memorial University class of 2012
Undergrad Major: Education
Claim To Fame:
I’ve always wanted to be a teacher. My teachers from 4th grade to 12th have inspired me to want to follow in there path. Teachers play a significant role in children’s lives. They are not only teachers they are counselors, advisers, and friends. My goal is to complete my undergraduates and teach English education at the high school I graduated from.
Most Memorable Moment:
I would have to say the most memorable night thus in college has to be election night. The night of election was exciting and intense. When Barack Obama (an African American man) was elected the 44th president of the United States, my whole campus celebrated his achievement. All the campaigning paid off. That was defiantly the most memorable moment for me.
High School: Boyd Anderson High in Lauderdale Lakes , FL class of 2006
