The Paul Quinn College (PQC) Scholarship is renewable and covers fifty percent (50%) of each recipient's tuition and room and board costs annually. PQC Scholars are responsible for the purchase of textbooks and for thew timely payments of the enrollment deposit, registration fee, and housing fee.

Criteria:
The applicant must be a high school senior who is projected to graduate in the top twenty-five percent (25%) of his/her class with at least a 3.25 GPA or he/she must be a transfer student who has maintained at least a 3.5 GPA at his/her previous college.

+ A high school applicant must score at least a composite score of 20 on the ACT or a combined score of 1410 on the SAT.
The applicant must submit a typewritten essay on the legacy of Bishop William Paul Quinn and how he/she will honor that legacy.
+ The applicant must apply for financial aid.
+ The applicant must commit to applying for at least two external scholarships each year.
+ The applicant must sign the PQC Scholar Letter of Intent.
+ Finally, the applicant must complete interviews with President Sorrell and the PQC Scholars Panel.

To maintain the scholarship, a recipient must:
+ Maintain at least a 3.5 GPA while at Paul Quinn,
+ Participate in at least one approved student organization or activity that demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to servant leadership,
+ Graduate in four (4) years or fewer,
+ Commit no violations of the College's disciplinary policies or honor codes, and
+ Live on campus for the first two (2) years of his/her enrollment.
