Pfizer Minority Medical Journalism Scholarship

| A $24,000 stipend over two years is awarded annually to a student to attend the Medical Journalism Master’s Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The program teaches students to report on health and science news for a variety of media. Students also receive a tuition waiver and free health insurance. Applicants must have completed previous studies in related fields such as journalism, basic sciences, English, literature and/or public health. Preference is given to those with a prior work history or other demonstrated experience in journalism or health care. | |
