YOLO and "classy" are two phrases we rarely hear together, but that's about to change. At Power Poetry, we think it's time to class up YOLO so we're launching a new scholarship slam called YOWO: You Only Write Once (for this scholarship slam). Of course we hope you won't ONLY write once! By YOWO, we mean you should make your words count. Write about anything in your life, school, community, country or the world that matters to you. This is about being heard for the chance to win $1,000 for your education. You must be no more than 25 years of age and be a current or former high school student who will be attending college within the U.S. in order to qualify for this award.
