| You've all heard the words: dream job. Maybe it s editing a documentary film, or coding an awesome mobile app. Or perhaps it s teaching Math, designing book covers, or managing a restaurant. Whatever your dream job is, chances are that it may take some time to get there. After all, practice makes perfect. We all know that both our work and our words have the potential to transform our lives. So Power Poetry is teaming up with Rock Your Block, a mobile social app that connects teens to employment and volunteer opportunities, for our latest scholarship slam: Just One Job...May Change My Life. Tell us what type of job could change your life to win $1000 for college. You must be no more than 25 years of age and be a current or former high school student who will be attending college within the U.S. in order to qualify for this award. | |
