The Master of Arts in Teaching program is looking for qualified undergraduate students and professionals who are interested in teaching middle school science.
The program offers - $20,000 to pursue a graduate degree (M.A.T.) - $10,000 Teaching Fellowship, in addition to your teaching salary, each year you work in a high need middle school classroom (up to 4 years) You are eligible for the fellowship if you 1. earned an undergraduate degree in Engineering, or any natural science 2. have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better 3. pass the Praxis Core exam (Reading, Writing and Math) 4. are a citizen or permanent resident of the US 5. are a woman, a minority population in the sciences, or person with a disability 6. apply and are admitted to the University of the District of Columbia graduate school | |
