The Vertus Hardiman Endowed Scholarship is open to students at HBCUs who are enrolled during this current 2023-2024 school year.

Please note: Current high school students are ineligible for consideration.

Eligibility requirements:

Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate program and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The scholarship will provide an award up to $5,000 depending on the financial need of the student as verified by the Financial Aid Administrator the student's University or College.

This is a one time award to be disbursed for the 2023-2024 school year after of February 2024.

Application Requirements:

In order to have a completed application package, candidates must include:

· Completed Student Application via online platform.

· Essay ( prompt and instructions located within the appropriate sections of the application)

· Transcript (unofficial accepted)

All prior recipients of this scholarship must reapply for full consideration.

All application materials must be submitted by the deadline for full consideration.

An email confirmation will be sent to applicants who have submitted complete applications. If you do not receive this email, the application was probably not submitted correctly.

Final awards are also announced by email within 10-12 weeks of the application close date.
