ADDICTION AWARENESS SCHOLARSHIP CAMPAIGN

To raise awareness as to the causes, consequences and treatment of addiction, Seasons in Malibu, an addiction treatment center, is seeking to reward essay applicants $1,500 in scholarships- for students entering college or already enrolled in a higher education institution.

The aim of the scholarship is to bring attention as to why addiction, in various forms, is becoming more prevalent in our society and how can we address the issue of an increasing number of people dealing with addiction.

The scholarship is open to any major who can shed light on this issue. It may be a personal story that you can share or a more researched essay.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be currently enrolled in either High School, University or College as a full-time student (2019-2020 school year). There will be 2 contest submission dates. To be eligible for the contest submit your essay by one the submission dates.
1. Round 1: January 1-May 31st.
2. Round 2: Accepting entries July 1st – November 30th. Winners Announced 12/30/2019
Along with your submission please include a picture of yourself which we can post on our site to go along with your essay. The winner will be required to provide proof of successful acceptance to a Higher Institute of Learning, College or University. Payment will be made directly to the applicant’s college.
