2023 Rising Future Makers Showcase

The 2023 Rising Future Makers Showcase is a program that honors and celebrates outstanding students from historically Black colleges and universities. With hundreds of applications received to date, the students will compete for the chance to receive exceptional prizes, including a $5,000 scholarship and a 5G-enabled device, along with exclusive entry to industry gatherings, mentorship possibilities, and beyond. The deadline for submissions is November 6.
Over the next couple of weeks, AT&T hopes to drive inspiration in the lives of HBCU students everywhere and introduce them to a variety of new possibilities. Students can learn more about the program in the following ways: * Watching the recently released "The Futurist" – a three-part series connecting HBCU students with established leaders including actor Lance Gross, The Lip Bar Founder Melissa Butler, and Ascend Ventures and the Black Innovation Lab Founder and CEO Kimberly Bryant for inspiring conversations and mentorship. * Stopping by the AT&T booth at "The Shop UNINTERRUPTED HBCU Tour" available at several HBCUs across the country. * Joining AT&T for a few Homecoming Week Celebrations with engaging activities such as an influencer meet and greet featuring Victor Solomon at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and Lance Gross at Howard University.
