K, it's official. Ya girl is back on campus! ahhhhh...it feels good to be back. I got my SINGLE in the X....yaaaayyy HOLLA! Got it quick, fast, no hassles, no drama (uh oh...is this HU!!:shock. Things are kinda slow, not many peeps, except for in the lines in the A building (go figure). Weather is warm...bearable...as of now that it is. Locals are still...well...locals. lol. Georgia Ave is still...well...Georgia Ave. Saw my usual bum outside of 5 guys today. Gave him a dime. Had another encounter with a dude that looked cleaner than me saying, "hey you...pretty lady...u give me dolla k? Kay", "oh, i'm sorry sir, i don't have a dollar to give u this evening". Silly me gotta be polite and actually hold convos with peeps. He musta walked with me for about a block talkin about "ohh...so u go to the universe ova there. Yes, universe students have money. U give me dolla. I graduated from universe", and i'm thinkin, "soo uhhhh...u graduated...then where is YOUR dolla Mr. Universe? :roll: ". *Sigh*...nothin quite like your Georgia Ave encounters. All i need to deal with next is the crazy financial aid peeps, lines galore, and stank attitudes from workers and my HU experience will be complete. It's good to be home. Gotta love it!
Luckily for me i'll be in a hotel for the next 3 days for the HUSA retreat, but i can't wait to get back and see all the beautiful black faces on campus. Especially the freshies . Hope yall are hyped. I have a copy of the orientation agenda and it is PACKED with stuff. It's gonna be one BUSY week for all of us. Enjoy!
i'm sooo jealous :evil: Since I live in the area I'll probably be up there sometime this week or early next week dealing with financial aid. :cry: Pray for me!

Honors peeps moved in today. It was soooo dumb to have so many people helpin out with such a small lil group of move ins. Half of the peeps was just sittin around chillin. But yeah, it's been rainin lately yall. Not cool. Plus, it's supposed to rain tomorrown for the BIG freshy move in. That is gonna be crazy. But newayz, HU...gotta love it!

Giiiiiirl...it is LAID out. U wouldn't even recognize it. We have a Chick-fil-a, a Pandini's (never heard of it), and some other kind of food place. And it's all gleamin and colorful. Looks bigger too. I can tell it's gonna be the spot.
