In January of this year we were in negotiations to acquire the domain "HBCUCENTRAL.COM" without the dash or '-' character from a company in New York that actually owns that domain name but they are not currently using it. They agreed to sell us the name, but then backed out on the deal once they found out that we were running hbcu-central.com and hbcucareerCenter.com websites. Having the 'dash' in hbcu-central.com has been confusing to people and something hard to remember for others, especially in casual conversation. So please show us some love and support in this move that will represent bigger and better things to come for us as the original HBCU Online Community!
