OK I HEARD THAT THEY ARE DISCONTINUING THE USE OF THE PRINTERS IN THE ILAB DUE TO EXCESSIVE USAGE OF PAPER. IN ORDER TO CONSERVE THE PAPER, THEY HAVE A PRINTER AT THE CENTER OF THE ILAB TO PRINTER YOUR PAPERS. THATS SO ****, WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

si si. Like i told Tomi & homiez last night...yes, we do pay a technology fee, however that alone doesn't even cover maintenence of the computers in the ilab (ie virus, breakdowns, damages, etc.), plus there are other bills and fees that are to be taken care of for utilization of the ilab. The cost of ink and paper cost the school thousands and thousands of dollars last year becuz so many people just went nutz with printouts. The board is still debating the whole issue, but as of right now, that's the way they're keeping it. I say that we should set up some type of system where each student gets a certain amount of prints per day/month/semester...or however they wanna distribute it. Of course it could be different for grad students, or certain majors that require more research. But i think that's a better way to regulate usage, and it could also cut down on the costs.

Yeah...now that whole cell phone thing...i am NOT happy with! Since those fools STILL have my laptop, i've been going there frequently and evertime i even think of pickin up my cell...here come the poe poes. "Excuse ma-am, no cell phone conversations in the ilab". Dang! what if my momma dyin on sumthin? What if i get a job opening? What if Morris Chestnut suddenly dials the wrong # and it traces to my cell??? and oh yeah...i just saw the whole paper limit thing when i went in there the other day. My question is...how do they have record of that? Is it just for one sitting? What if i make 30 prints, leave, and come back? Can u do another 30?
