I went to see "A Shark's Tale" yesterday...& it seemz they had a MILLION & 1 previews for new "animation-type films" due to come out...
& one of 'em (called "Robots") had Halle as one of the voices...
& i told my friends, that's it...it's official...she has literally done it all...
'cause ya know how the MAJORITY of actors & actresses only stick to one or two genres of movies...or they can only do a few types...
not Halle...not her by any means...
think about it...
ya gurl was in Boomerang (Black love comedy)....

:arrow: Jungle Fever (playing a CRACKHEAD of all thingz!).....
:arrow: Monster's Ball (interracial relationship drama)....
:arrow: Swordfish (bad gurl adventure)....ummm...
:arrow: B.A.P.S. (played a ghetto queen in this COMEDY)....
:arrow: Queen (historical drama)....
:arrow: Introducing Dorothy Dandridge (star of the biography of one of blacks' greatest stars of the past)....
:arrow: Gothika (a HORROR film)...
:arrow: the FLINTSTONES movie (played the only black - a seductress, no less - in a White, "stone-age" town...a kids' movie)
:arrow: X-Man 1 & 2 (as a beautiful & powerful ACTION FIGURE :shock
:arrow: Why Do Fools Fall In Love (another biographical movie)
the list is endless....& just when u think there is absolutely nothing else she could try...she's about to be the voice of an animated machine...as Martin used 2 say, u GO, GURL!!
if acting were my thing & i wanted to try to reach the top, THIS would be my idol 4REAL...i mean, don't get me wrong...Angela Bassett is my fav. actress, but Halle is "VERSATILITY" with a capital "V"...i can't even think of any White actors or actresses who have touched her wide range of character achievements over the years....much love & respect to mista Denzel, but with everything he's done, not even he has been as versatile as she has...
the gurl could quit right now & go down in history for her accomplishments thus far....& what's even MORE of a trip...w/ the majority of the movies mentioned above, it's not like she had some minor or limited roles....she STARRED in MOST OF THEM....ANNND @ least HALF of them could've easily been played by a White actress (& actually WERE meant to be played by White actress...but SHE SHOWED THEM!!!)...
Halle is truly off that chain....much props to her for her contribution to American film....
