Press Release - Kraft Foods, Church's to Sponsor Voter Registration Kraft Foods, manufacturer of Kool-Aid fruit drinks, is teaming up with Church's Chicken to sponsor a series of voter registration drives across the country. The campaign, named "Get Free Food, and Vote Too" targets Black constituents with an appealing offer. Eligible voters who complete a voter registration are treated to a free 3-piece chicken box and a 32oz Kool-Aid drink. This promotion is expected to bring in record numbers of new voters, say political marketing analysts. However, it isn't without its weak points. Employees of Church's report large numbers of people registering to vote in their mother's name, as well as hoarding condiments. Sales of hot sauce and sugar have spiked 75% in cities participating in the drives. It's not uncommon to see bootleg men selling bottles of Texas Pete for $10 in barber shops and street corners, according to one Churchs manager. The success of this strategy hasn't gone unnoticed. Another drive organized by the Republican Party is being planned in Starbucks across the country, where new voters receive free scones and Frappucinos. The new voters will also be treated to a free American flag bumper sticker. Where do I come up with this stuff... Holla! 8)

So they are offering black people chicken and kool-aid to vote. Come on people don't be a walking stereotype and vote to make a difference not for free food... ... unless you just hungry that day!!!
