and I HONESTLY forget she white sometimes...she acts black...so its just like...I FORGET it wasn't until I look at a baby pic of her that I remembered she was white......

it's not that i'm racist....i just don't feel i can interact with certain whites the way i can with certain blacks...so i take that into account...
but back in early high school and before...when i had some white friends i was REAL cool with...i could relate to what u're saying....'cause pretty much, a friend was just a friend...color didn't really matter...
but now, since all of my friends are black (well, except 1)...i definitely pay attention to color....

I never forget, but I think that's mainly because I can relate to a lot of black people, a lot have the same experiences I have had, and we have stuff in common.
I go to a predominatly White high school and I'm always conscious of the fact that I'm Black surrounded by White people. Because of all the racism and ignorance I've been through, I expect White people to eventually say something racist or ignorant, I don't fully trust any White person. There are good, warm-hearted White people whom I respect and appreciate, but I don't really feel like I can relate to White people, so I don't have any White friends, just Black, but I could relate to other people of color.
