i think it is. i have a friend who lives in georgia and she told me about it. and it's really not as easy to get a 3.0 as people would think.

Yeah, I think that's true...I know it covers tuition, but I'm not sure about anything else. People who go to a private school can get HOPE, too, but you only get $3,000 a year. They also check your grades every semester, cause if you don't keep up that 3.0....

I think you're talking about the HOPE Scholarship... At public colleges, the HOPE Scholarship provides full tuition, approved mandatory fees (such as health and student activity fees), and a $300 per academic year book allowance. Room and board expenses are not covered. and yea you have to graduate with a 3.0 which I think should be moved up to a 3.5 only for GEORGIA colleges though

If it is true...it only works in certain states cause that sure as hell aint applied in Connecticut...you payin tuition regardless if you got a 4.0 or a 2.0....only exception to that is those who is in school on a full ride...and thats at any university obviously.

I didn't know that DC students don't have to pay out of state fees.
