I'm thinking of transfering to Howard University, so I wanna know if anyone has transfered to Howard what was the transition like? And for any students who attend HU, how do you like it, what are the good and bad things about HU that they dont tell you in the tour.

Your transition to Howard should be fairly easy. We have a Transfer Student Association and we had over 150 transfer students enter the university in August of 2004.
I LOVE HOWARD! Although I'm not a transfer student, I don't think your transition will be any harder than it would be at any other school. Of course Howards a black school and every HBCU has it's issues (administration etc.) but in a good majority of my classes I had anywhere from about 10 to 30 students in a class. The professors are very passionate about what they do and they want to see you succeed. I had good relationships with all of my professors. Howard is truly what you make it. Feel free to ask me any more questions.
