I concur. My girl flat ironed my hair one time and it was bone straight as if i had it pressed with a hot comb. I didn't think it was possible for an electric flat iron to get my hair like that. For x-mas my mom got me a gold n hot electiric flat iron, blow dryer, and a thompson stove for the hot combs and curling irons i have that aren't electric. I can't afford to pay the pros, so i'm gonna be settin up shop in 211 8)

I would say Gold and Hot is definitely one of the best....I have the Gold n Hot flatiron and hair dryer....I know the CHI flat iorn works NICE...ive seen the work that flat iron does...it makes hair super straight...it comes out soooo nice. I want one...they are just EXPENSIVE...i forgot how expensive, but i know it was costly. My friend has one...

I agree with the ladies. Gold n' Hot products are the best, and they are fairly cheap. My flatiron works wonders....especially when its close to the time I need to get a touch-up. The only problem is that my hair stylist doesn't like for me to flatiron my hair because she says its too much heat on my hair....so I don't use it often. But when I do, it looks amazing. Gold n' Hot, in my opinion, is your best option...

Any ceramic tools are the best for your hair in the long run. I have extremely curly hair but i like to wear it str8, and i finally got tired of spending $60 every 3 weeks (lost mah job), I got my own tools and as kenya said "set up shop," my gold n hot was great until my hair started to split and break off..mayb its me..iouno..newayz, i purchased this kit you might have seen on tv (lol) called str8 2 the maxx, it comes with the ceramic flat iron and the chemical straightening kit (which i havent used yet..like the curly look sumtimes) any who-the ceramic is AMAZING and doesnt cause nearly as much damage 2 ya hair.

Yep, that is very much true. Ceramic is much better for the hair and causes little to no damage. Alot of professionals use it and recommend it as well. Only thang is, they're so dern expensive. So seeing as how i'm a struggling college student, i guess i'm just stuck with Black n Gold . *shrugs* But as long as u don't put heat on your hair too often, you'll be ok. I know some chicks who hot curl their hair every morning (i used to be guilty of it myself). That is a big NO NO. Too much heat will break your hair off quick, fast, and in a hurry.
