To be honest, Howard and Hampton were the only HBCUs i were really interested in. Applied to both, got in to both, both offered me nothin but a fat loan. Just so happened that Hampton was more expensive than Howard...therefore the loan was bigger...hence more for me to have to pay back later. So i figured if me and my momma were gonna go broke, might as well do it offer a school that gave me a bigger **** for my buck. Plus, i'm nothin but a city girl at heart. HU had the whole package.

True. Only thing about LA is that things aren't easily accessible. If you don't have a car, then you're fresh out of luck.

Is it just me or when you tell people that you go to Howard they act like you said Harvard? (that is so funny to me)... Anyway, I chose Howard over Hampton because I get the best of both worlds. An education at a prestigious HBCU and its in the city with a public transportation so I can go somewhere without a car so I get a great social life. Even though I'm going broke by going to Howard. It's ok because I'm sure it will be worth it.
