Check out the detailed poll above, and pick out which one represents how much TV news you watch.
Does anyone here besides me watch local/national news on TV? By local, I mean your basic local CBS/ABC/NBC stations (for example: News 2....NewsCenter 4....Eyewitness News 5). National being ABC/CBS/NBC national evening news, CNN, MSNBC, ****....and then there is Fox News (the conservatives' favorite biased choice).
The reason I'm asking is to get a feel for how the younger crowd feels about TV news. People (and surveys) say that the younger crowd (18-27) doesn't care about the news as much as the older crowd does. I brought this up with our News Director, trying to persuade him to either re-work our newscasts to appeal to the folks from my generation, OR create ONE newscast that would air the news that is relevent to our lives.
State your pleasure negroes.
I watch more national news than local news....but I watch the local news enough where I could tell you whats going on around here. I like the National news like CNN, MSNBC, etc...cause I like to hear what else is going on in the country and world.
see...this is my prooof that people are totally unaware of biased...i see what yall see on the nation news programs shapes yall's political opinion...i was right all along...i new this from jump...>>(stacy dash)

nope, you're suppose to balance your news...for example, i listen to NPR from 7 am to 9am, then i listen to rush & genn beck from 9 to 3....and i fisnish it off with jon stewart and ted koppel at night...maybe sprinkled in with a little fox news...
now i know you're sayig that you don't have all of that time to watch news, but unlike you, i don't have a life.
a simple way for you to balance how you recieve information is to listen to the rush **** program on your local AM radio dial weekdays from noon to 3... or go to http://www.rushlimbaugh.com ...
does anyone else besides me love the drudge report?
i really watch the news that much. i try to watch it more often and when i do, i watch more va local than national news. when i wanna know whats going on back at home, i go to www.app.com. that is the website for the asbury park press which is the newspaper that i read back home or i go to www.upn9news.com which is one of the local news stations i watch back at home.
