depends on your college.

And it depends on the effort you put into your schoolwork.

depends on you....I pulled a 3.65 my 1st semester (str8 As and one C) but that's me. The biggest difference i noticed between college and high school is the study time. College (at least for me) requires a lot of independent and effective sudy time.

Some people are going to disagree with me, but I'd say that your GPA can be influenced by your major as well. Some majors are harder than others. Generally a 3.3 in math, is good enough for an elite graduate school bid, plus money; whereas a 3.3 in less strenous major, might relegate you to a regional university.

i agree. as a chem major, i have 2 put in more hours studyin than my friends majorin in say, telecom, to get the same grades. plus math and science classes are typically worth more credits and therefore carry more weight towards ur gpa

You HOPE nursing isn't that hard, lol you better get ready because nursing is that hard x 10! I don't think a 3.3 is hard to keep I was a nursing major for 2 years and I have a overall 3.2 gpa(dag on antaomy and physiology and chemistry in one semester) but my grades are better than all of my friends and their majors ARE MUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHH easier and I'm the worse procrasinator in the word(ADD doesn't help either) you just have to know when its time to play and when its time to work.
