Vegetarianism Posted on 03-18-2005

I was wondering if anyone here is a vegetarian, and if so, do you have any good recipes. I want to go vegetarian for a while and see how I like it. The only thing I am concerned with is making sure that I still get all my proteins, carbs, fats, etc. I can cook, so don't worry about if anything is difficult to make. Also, even if you don't have any good recipes or ideas, just your ideas and thoughts on vegetarianism, especially those who are currently or have ever tried it. THANKS!

I did it for six months but I refuse to pay Howard for a Traditional 14 and eat salads....and not ummmmm eat EVERYTHING (lol not that i'll probably want to its just the principle) umm Boca burgers are good....ummm morningstar is great everything but their breakfast stuff dont worry about all of that because you can easily get it through soy and other stuff you eat... i was fine for my 6 months on top of that.......you wanna be a vegan or like an ovolacto vegetarian??

I've had a mushroom burger before. It was actually really good! I think they used portabello mushrooms as a meat substitute. http://www.foodtv.com , better known as the food network, should have some good recipes.

Nahd, beware of those stupid meal plans. I wasted my parents' $$ last year on those, when I shoulda just got Dining Dollars. Of course, I had to walk 4 blocks just to get to the cafe, so it might be more worth it for you. I tried a Howard veggie burger one time (cuz I'm "open-minded", lol). I hated it. You're right about Morningstar sausage patties. 1st time: I really liked em. :???: 2nd time::spit:
