We don't really have a relationship. Him and my mother split when I was like 3. He came by every now and then for a lil while afterwards. Then it turned into a every other year thing if at all. Recently like in the past year or so he's been comin around ALOT more than usual. Like every other month or somethin. It's awkward just seein him cause he's that person you see pickin up aluminum and stuff. He works good w/ his hand so that gives him a lil pocket change. But I basically ain't had a father my entire life now that I see him sometimes there's still no bond there really. I won't take anything from him and I'm hopin to take advantage of every good opportunity that comes my way in life unlike he did and one day be a father to my children.
I love my dad...We've had our father/daughter issues, but he's the greatest.

Well, my Dad and i have a wishy washy relationship. Growing up i was probably closer with to him than any other family member. As i got older(teen years), our personalities began to clash. Maybe, it's because we are so much alike...STUBBORN. Although, we have our differences, i really admire and respect him for not being the typical husband and father. He's always been there for us, not to mention that he pulls his weight around the house(eventhough its just him and my mom there, now).
aight what's your relationship with your dad like? what good has he done in your life? what mistakes has he made? what are you going to take from him and how are you going to imporve on his mistakes? i'll try to post mine if i have enough time...on lunch break... 8-) (nessa)
well, mine could be much much better...
i never met him until i was like 8 years old....acoording to him, he didn't know that i existed until 1993...but my mom tells a different story...they both met while in korea (army) and both tell a different story of what happened that night...i tend to believe my mom...
dammit, brb i have to get back to work...will continue tommorow...or later tonight...>> :???: >>
