Qualities of a life long mate

Kindness, patience, and understanding...thats all I'm looking for...

I made the decision to get married and now I wish I could take it back. I suggest that before you decide that you love someone enough to get married, that you decide whether you like them enough to put up with moodiness and can continue to consider their feelings in your actions. Also, make sure you define the way you want to be treated from the beginning and don't give an inch in your stance. If you do, you will find yourself miserable far more than the happy, festive day of your wedding. Take a few years to get to know that someone and give yourself a better perspective of what you need from life. Also, take the time to mature and learn what is reality and lose the childhood misconceptions about marriage. But, back to the topic. I look for: 1. Understanding 2. Trust 3. Friendship 4. Physical appeal that will make me glad to be a man
