That cannot be compared to the experience of being an actual HU student. Your credentials are good enuff to get u into HU. I know becuz yours are very similar to how mine were. Don't throw the race before you've even gotten to the starting mark. If it's in God's will, it will come to past.

I'm going to have to agree. Don't give up on Howard just because you got waitlisted for a summer program. This shouldn't change or diminish the feelings that you have about applying to or attending Howard. If anything, the interest you showed in the summer program might convey to the admissions officers that you are genuinely into Howard and that might help your case if and when you decide to apply HU in your senior year. And be optimistic, somebody might skip out and that may leave you with a spot in the summer program. Have some faith and I hope everything works out for you.
