NC A&T..or FAMU...and i dunno if i have what it takes to get in. i havent taken my SATs, im taking them June 4th. i did terrible all throughout high school (i had some personal issues)...but i turned my grades around and started applying myself. i went from like a 0.0 (no joke) to a 2.5, im trying to get into college. i play sports and am going to start doing more community service. i did a lot freshman year, but slacked off. what i need to know is... DO I STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO GET INTO ONE OF THESE SCHOOLS?! PLEASE KEEP IT REAL!!

First of all where do you live? CUz if it's Northcarolina or Flordia, i would say yeah But you have almost the same exact credentials as me (2.5, minimal community service) but i got 1040 on the sat. U might have a hard time getting in to A&T with those credentials but i dont think NCCU should be a problem, FAMU either But just do really good on your SATs cuz that might be what makes or break your chances

U shouldn't have a problem gettining into any of these schools. I had the same problem as you my grades didn't even really look good until JR year. I am now applying as a transfer student to NCA&T and FAMU and some others. I still have to meet the Freshman requirements bcuz I am only transferring 15 credits. I suggest that you call the schools and as to speak to either admissions personnel or the person who handles recruitment(sp) and explain your self to them. Just lay it all out. That is what I did and the lady (can't remember her name @ FAMU and NCA&T) told me that I shouldn't have any problems getting in. Just apply. Good Luck Tiffany
