You know i thought the same thing which is the reason why i'm going to an hbcu 8)
Its like a white school right can have the best players in the world in the band but they still couldnt hold a candle to a band like um.. Jackson State. Maybe because they dance.
What school are u going to? I wanna go to a school with a good band also because I want to be a Majorette in college like I am in high school
I don't know yet, I'll apply to NCAT and CAU and Southern, N Howard. I'm undecided. I like all they bands. my old band director graduated from CSU and his father graduated from CAU both in they band both want me to go to they old school. I might be a dancer I just got into the dances and everything. I was a majorette for like 3 weeks, I was going through training in school. But if not I'll be screaming on my trumpet in the stands. I don't know why its so different. Most of the white bands I've seen are just plain they don't march, n they don't dance. Well not like and hbcu can get down. :lol: Most bands have like one or two majorettes I admire them because they have to be really good to make it on the field. I know at Central State ( I watch them all the time they so close to home) Their majortte is great to me she came to our school to teach our majorettes. When do you graduate?

I graduate on May 20th 2006! LOL I dont know what school Im gonna go to tho girl. My GOD sister a majorette for Jackson State and my sister is a Majorette for MS Valley but I dont really wanna go to either. I wanna go far but NOT to far cause I might need some money from my parents lol

No I graduate next year too. I wanna go far far away most likely back to atlanta, where ever. I'm putting in an application to alot of colleges :lol: i'm overly excited to get to college, i'm getting hella scholarships of this music thing so i gotta worry about my extra money cause they don't cover that part of college. where eva u wanna go, find out before hand about the aux. aud. they in like april, may around that time.

I know right, have u taken your ACT yet. Im suppose to be taking it in June girl. My cuz Nikii, she goes to Alcorn, I think she made like a freakin 26 or 27 her FIRST time takin the ACT and she was cryin cause she wanted to make higher. Im like damn, I would freak if I got that my first time!

I'm too nervous about the SAT. College better be worth all this work, 4 years of high school ACT SAT, then these other test they just made up in ohio for no reason. They better be the best 4 years of my life, 8 years for me. I'm going in for Music Ed. and psychology, what about you?

Two big **** books that really help, they gave so many practice test, and you can see what answers you got wrong and why the answer was wrong, all that good stuff. Just in case you want to take it again you should get it.
