Has officially retired. I just heard the news just now on ESPN2. He is one of the greats.

JR was indeed the truth. This dude broke over 60 NFL records and went to the pro bowl when he was 40 years old. No matter how much talent there is out there nobody could ever duplicate that type of talent to consistency ratio. The most ridiculous part is that I bet jerry still has the talent to play at least a 3rd wr somewhere, but considering the fact that he has no upside, no one will even toy w/ that. The dude is by far the most talented and dedicated player to ever step on the football field.

He will be in the hall of fame, no doubt. He should look for a front office position

Or he could always just coach... WR coach for the chicago bears
