I would say vsu or vsu b/c they rock!!! VSU is the only hbcu that is like a fasion contest and their bands are off the hook.

What about the academics? After all, that IS the reason why you're going to college anyway.

Well, just to rep my own school I guess since you never hear about it: If you're looking into agriculture and animal science (pre-vet), look at UMES (Univ. of MD Eastern Shore) as well. If you're lookin into natural sciences, like going into biomedical sciences (you don't have to necessarily get your M.D., PhD. is an option that alot of people seem to not consider), UMES prepares you well for it. For marine sciences, look towards UMES. They also prepare you for medical school even though we don't have a designated pre-med program. Also, we have a pretty new (and tough) Dept of Physical Therapy, which I believe includes Physical Therapy and Physician Assistants. They seem to be top quality...got state of the art equipment in our newest facility. Also, last time I checked, UMES offered some joint program with the Fashion Institute. However, I'm not into fashion, so I didn't read too much into it.
