I have been accepted into Jackson State for 2006, and have a few questions about the dorms.
(1). Are the restrooms located inside each individual room, or is there one big washroom/shower?
(2). Are the rooms small?
(3) Is a meal plan optional?
(4) Are the employees trifling?
(5) Are the rules really strict?
To any Jackson students or alumni, I would really appreciate your responses. Thank ya.
I hope this not too late....Our Housing has stepped up over the past few years. If you are coming as a freshman you have no options. You have to stay in Alexander. They have community baths, but they were remodeled recently. You have a nice size room with limited closet space. You have to get a meal plan. The Cafeteria food is not that good, but we have subway and the grill where you can use your flex dollars. Any more questions let me know.

If you are an athlete, then you will have a curfew. Other than that, you don't have one, unless you are trying to become apart of some type of organization where you can't be seen out after a certain hour or whatever. Housing for the most part ****. Although, some apartments are currently being built on campus and then there's the new Dixon and Transitional halls. As mentioned above though, you have no choice as a freshman on where you will reside.
