What were your reactions to the All American Debate put on at HBCU Howard Uni.??

Sammy I Hear You But I Have To Say Rkfl2004 Is Right. When She Put God In This I Had No Choice But To Agree. I Have So Many Blessing In My Life That Sometimes I Have Not The Room To Recieve Them Financailly, Spiritually, And Eamotinally And I Am Thankfull For Them. I Put God In Control Of Not Only My Financial Situation But Every Situation And Everytime I Am Blessed. "so I Can Tell The World That I Am Blessed". Both Of You Have Good Points But Instead Of Trying To Critic Them Try To Understand Them And Let Talk About What Can Be Done To Change For The Better.

As a response I would like to state the following: 1. When talking about welfare I am talking about the population disreguarding race that wants to use it as a cruth instead of leg up. For example ppl living on section 8 with big screen tv's drawing unemployment when they arent actively searching for a job. I understand full and well that others use it as an aid and that's fine you have to make ends meet somehow. Hell if I were in that position I am not to proud to accept anything however I will work my **** off and depend on no one but myself for what I have or to get what I lack. 2. About cacajuns and there finnaces I lived and recieved my school straight out the south bronx. at the schools I attended the racial make up was predominatly African American and Latinos. However when I moved to SC my school that I attended there was a whole mix of different culture and ethtic races. Despite this caucajuns still had a greater precentage. Anyway while here my school and class did carry out survey and research on this topic so that's where i was drawing my conclusions from. Our school or Gov/Economics class came to the conclusions that since the 1920's the investors/ owners of major stock of the market have belonged to or were bought by caucajuns. Also that at younger ages they were being exposed to the interworkings of day trading business outlooks what have you. References we had was a wall street stocksman from Johnson and Johnson, USA Today, teachers whom held stock, teachers who went into business for themselves at a young age gained stock, sold it and now are collecting money whenever there product is sold, repersenatives from Mitubishi and a whole host of ppl so I not just comming out my **** when I formulate these conclusions. 3. I picked Condelezza because ppl would tend to trash her (BEt Mtv, politically fueled talk shows) saying she sold out. But just by participating in a debate with one of my fellow collegues I was opened up to a new view of her. Personally I don't revere her I just merely used her as an example. 4. religion is a topic that has started wars and as a current example kept them going for centuries upon centuries. Because I have done extensive research on Biblical Studies (Sr. Thesis of which I earned honors ) (and for clarification its like a college level disertation, presentation, and oral defense you start you jr. yr in highschool and finish toward the end of your Sr. yr in highschool.) Anyway I have taken these text and have looked at them not from a believers pt. of view but from a historic pt of view basically palcing the actually events within a certain time line. It took me a while to get past years of pastors feeding me what they want me to believe or there take on sa specific area to actually read it in these context and understand it for myself. To give you an idea of the type of research I did I'll elaborate a little first as most of us know the text that are in the bible are called the cannonized text which means these are the only text the rulers and the leaders of the church at the time so fit to place in the bible the other non cannonized text where called heritical hence they were "banned from the bible" (quotations name of a series on history channl if you want to follow up on it) anyway the ppl whom wrote them called them Knostic gospels greek knosis which means Knowledge. In my research I read and understood the bible cannonized text and uncannonized text in the original language hebrew. In hebrew the message that most of the bible conveys is very different fro the english version for example "lord" when used in the bible KJV refers to an actual lord within the hierarchy of the english fedual system ex. King, queen, royals, lords, falconer, priest, peasant and so forth. the acutual hebrew word used I believe as "elohiem" which means gods. Therefore as a result the first line of the bible " In the begining god created the heavens and the earth" actuall translation in the original text reads "In the begining the gods created the heaven and the earth" see ppl fail to realize that the first 5 books of the bible are known to jews as the torah "law books" all it was, was a guideline for how the jews were supposed to act kind of like the 10 commandements now in the new testament jesus states that "I cam to fulfill the law not to destroy it" the law he was reffering to was that stated by the phophets in the old testament. Believe me at first it all throw you for a loop but if you allow yourself to delve into the research and respect the text it is very very very enlightening. But I say all that to say that to state that I am not against titheing however I am cautioning the faithful to beware of corrupt churchs who are only after their money. Taking advantage of those whom want to give to uplift.
