Once again Howard University remains on U.S. News & World Report's list of America's Best Colleges.
USNews.com: America's Best Colleges 2008: National Universities: Top SchoolsBut what is so unique is that out of over 100 top colleges, Howard University is the ONLY HBCU on the list. We are tied for 96th place with other schools like U of Tennessee, Northeastern, Auburn and U of Arizona. We also ranked HIGHER than U of Kentucky, Ohio University, Florida State and Catholic University in Washington, DC.
This is why I will never regret choosing HU!!!
The formula for the rankings includes variables such as graduation and retention rates, faculty and financial resources, and the percentage of alumni donating money to their alma mater. The biggest single variable — and the most controversial — is a reputation assessment by peer institutions.
