Wsup yall? Im new to the forum so I figured I'd just come by a say a lil something. I stay in Ellenwood, GA, and I'm currently a junior in HS. I've recently decided to go to an HBCU after attending the CAU Homecoming game. I wanted to go to Georgia Tech, but my mom, my mom's friend, doctor, counselor, pretty much everybody told me to go to an HBCU and then transfer. I was like ok but I never really got a chance to look at how much fun it would be. After hearing how these PWI's are an how there isn't that much support for Blacks, it made me lean more toward an HBCU. I don't know if I want to go to CAU or Morehouse though. I'm pretty smart, I have a 3.71 GPA on a weighted scale, I haven't taken the SAT or ACT yet, I participate on Varsity football & track, and the president of FBLA for my school. With all that on the plate I'm hoping I can get in pretty good to the college of my choice. That's a good grip of info about me. Preciate yall time!

I applied to both Georgia Tech and CAU.
But my first choice is CAU...but I don't want to transfer and lose scholarship money...
Soo I hope my first choice is the right one.
welcome! i have a brother who stays by cascades i think thats sw atl. thats good u want to attend a hbcu ive been debating that decision for a while now. im a senior and have decideed that i really want to attend one but i do have some pwis im applying to just to keep my options open
