Try CAU thats the reason I applied there because im interested in broadcast journalism and also the city of atlanta has several media outlets like cnn turner broadcasting and cartoon network just to name a few
also according to rugg's recommendations( a book that suggests schools by major) Johnson C. Smith is a good choice and that's in charlotte , nc and they are a very technology emphasis school
famu- also was on the list of rugg reccomondations- but i dont know how far you're willing to go thats too far for me lol
i know its a lot but im going through the same thing you are with deciding what schools are suitable for my major
i hope this helps some what
Yea it does thanks so much ... and I don't know if you're interested or not but I was talking to my cousin and she was telling me that Hampton and Norfolk actually let you film your own pieces jr. and sr. year for HW assignments and such.

Hampton's Scripps Howard School of Journalism & Communications is among the best in terms of faculty, facilities, and career opportunities.Check this out to learn more: http://www.hamptonu.edu/shsjc/pdf/SHSJC_Winners.pdfHU has been very aggressive in developing their communications program... definitely worth looking into. Ever since Tony Brown was appointed dean, I've heard nothing but great things.
Lol just like them Hampton kids pushing they school j/k but my sister went to Hampton and everytime I say something she talkin about Hampton ... when she was there I went to visit, well with her anyway. Maybe I should go back and really check out the Communications/Journalism Dept.
Also Try FAMU. The School of Journalism & Graphic Communication from the information on the schools website is excellent. "FAMU is the only historically black institution to have ever earned a writing Hearst Medallion, meaning it placed in the top 10 of all accredited journalism programs nationally – and it has done so five times, in 1995-96, 1996-97, 1997-98, 2002-03 and 2006-07"
