To me, they just repeated things I've heard on this forum and mostly things you can find out on the website. The student panel was pretty good and funny.
The student panel kind of **** me off lol There were many students who asked the same question in different ways.
Ex: I'm from _________ and I was wondering how life in D.C. is different from back home.
This one question was asked the same time but in 20 different ways (I kid you not)
Other than that, the panel was informative for me. The students were honest about their daily lives, questions about everything were asked and answered, I'll be sure not to "over-involve" myself on campus though lol. One of the panelists told the group about how her freshman year she became involved in 13 orgs. and didn't really have time to truly devote to any of them.
They also gave tours according to your respective school/major. Ex: School of B, School of Allied Health & Sciences, etc. My tour was the worst though. As interested as I was about hearing about the requirements for my prospective major, the biology building was a friggin furnance!!! I also would have liked to tour more of the campus instead of just my prospective school. Since it was Friday, there were a plethora of students out and about. It was hard trying to tune out all the barking going on outside the biology building lol but the experience was great none the less.
Yeah I head about the probate. Im mad I missed it!
Did they say anything about financial aid? When do they plan on sending them out? Hopefully before May 1st.

And this is why I suggested that everyone take his/her own tour of the campus during a visit.
Guided tours are the worst!
Well umm...
The most important things that I heard were....
1. FinAid should be coming out soon.
2. Housing questions/RSVP stuff...
.........
and yeah...I left..... cause I wanted to visit the School of B on my own.
