DC inst like the south where every1 is polite to each other. it really depends what part of DC you are in (i guess that goes for all the other states too) the area that Howard is in isn't necessarily the best but its not the worst either. a few crack heads here and there but what state doesn't have those.****! there are some stores and eateries by the school and sometimes when you are walking off campus it would be hard 2 tell who's a college student and who's a high school student b/c there are about 3 different schools that aren't too far from Howard (my school being across the street). if u want to go shopping and u don't like the options that are located right outside Howard u can either go to the new "mall"(not really a mall but it sorta kinds it **** b/c there aren't many options, its like just a few stores including target, best buy, Marshalls..etc) a train ride away. DC doesn't really have any malls but the good thing about the situation is that DC,MD and VA are so close that u can get on a bus or train (we have lots of those here, and the train station is down the street from Howard) and go to the malls in MD or VA.ill tell you more about them if u want just ask. there are also clubs in DC. a couple are by the waterfront on the south side the scenery is beautiful..depending which areas ur in. anything else you want to know about DC?lol I could go on and on really. ==>oh yea: and when you get down here u'll find out more about Go-Go music, and mumbo sauce (thats like the best sauce to put on chicken and french fries when u order from the carryout...try it!)
