My name is Stacey and I have been a "silent" reader on HBCUCONNECT for awhile. Well I have been thinking about attending Howard University in the fall of '09. I have a few question about Howard University.
~ Is it true that students of COAS must take swimming to graduate?
~ If I apply Early Decision, and get accepted, but Howard doesnt offer me a good Financial Aid package can I go to another college that offers me more money? Or am I obligated to go to Howard?

I dont attend Howard, but I know once you apply and get accepted m, you either choose Howard or go to another school. you have a say where you want to go for the next four years of your life. So no, youre not obligated.
Ps. Type in "The real Hu" in google and see what the first thing says.

so yeah i plan on applying early action cuz even though Howard is my first choice i would like to keep my options open just in case. and good luck to my fellow prospective Howardite (is that what we would be called?

...and like you Howard is my first choice school too..but I do plan on applying to North Carolina A&T, UNC-G, Winston Salem State University, and UNC-CH..all colleges and university in North Carolina ( where I'm from )..but do u know what u want to major in yet?
