I want to go to Xavier bad lol I am only a junior now though. I emailed/called Xavier a few times trying to find out if I could apply for early admission ,however, gotten different answers. First call I was told yes and I only needed six semesters, second time no, needed to be a senior.
Now I am stuck between Xavier and Morehouse both are great schools but which one to attend?!
If I attended Xavier I plan to major in microbiology, if I attend Morehouse biology.
Anyone mind reading my real personal statement? PM or post please and thanks
both schools or excellent for the African Americans and the sciences...im from N.O and I've been to ATL and the cities are kinda similar...you cant go wrong with those 2 very prestigious institutions
lol first post!!!!.....but lol back on topic...lol how long does the essay have to be??...and can the topic be anything??
For Xavier: honestly I do not know how long the essay is suppose to be. But, on the online application it is listed as "statement of interest" so a couple of paragraphs describing your intentions will do I guess.
For Morehouse: I know they require three application essays with mini-max word requirements.
In addition to app essays, I recommend you write a personal statement and mail/fax/email it along with app.
Xavier is a great school! Nice choice! It was originally one of my choices, but I narrowed my list down to a more reasonable number and it got bumped! But I did apply and got accepted to Tulane in N.O., so I'm happy with that.
If you still need someone to read your essay, I would be delighted to.
I'm an English nerd anyway so I enjoy these typed of things.
