Can we go back to the old forums?
Hi, just wondering if we can go back to the way the old forums were set up. Obviously, the new forum design has ran everyone away. Maybe the feeling of being anonymous is gone, and that is why people aren't posting anymore. For one, you have a big picture by everyone's name and where they are from and a link to their profile page. People might just want to post anonymously without anyone knowing who they are. The old forums were separate from the HBCU profiles, and you didn't know who was posting. It was funner that way. Anyway, this is just my opinion. I know it took a while for the HBCU technology team to come up with this new design, but people aren't posting anymore.
yea im so used to the old way ... im lost and no ones here anymore
Yeah, even Cnels have left the forum. Now you know something is wrong with that! LOL He might be busy though. Yeah, this new format is sorta hard to navigate.
Dont quote me on this, but I remember Cnels saying something about his job blocking the site. Therefore, I think his access is limited. Hopefully, he will return soon!
Oh okay! LOL I guess they caught on to folks using up too much company time playing on the internet!
Yeah, I knew that there was something whacked about the forums. It's new. But the new is suppose to be improved and better, not worse. I contacted HBCU and told them about how the website was flashing all over the place and how I'm already logged in when I go to the page. HBCU had the nerve to ask me, after I told them that I was not having the same problems with the other website that I was going on to, if there was anything wrong with my browser and internet provider. See, that's why black folks is behind everybody else. Because they are too damn slow!
How do you retrieve your old screen name? I cant get it back and its irritating me....
OMG! i THOUGHT i WAS THE ONLY ONE THINKING THAT! THIS IS NOT USER FRIENDLY AT ALL!
cNELS, WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT THIS?
Me?
I'm in the same boat
as the rest of ya'll I want the old forums too. I'll see what I can do.
