Let's Go Song For Song, I'm Da Illest Nygga Doin' it Till you Prove me Wrong- S.Carter Where is Jay's place in Hip Hop History? Is he Top 5 Material or more like Top 10? or has he grinded his way into one of the top 2 spots?

I knew u was a Pun fan but i didn't know u ranked him that highly...Pun was nice tho but i don't know about top 5 status for him.. My top 5 is: Pac BIG/Jay Nas Big L The reasons vary for each but I honestly don't see how Jay could be ranked any lower than 3 because of everthing that he's brought to the table for almost 10 years

Tupac Biggie JayZ and the list goes on.... but JayZ my 3rd choice...not only cuz he fresh...but because he is/was the hardest working rapper out there on the real tip...and for that he gets boosted up...he's one of the greatest.....now if i included oldschool up on here...he prolly be like 6 or 7....but this list is of my time...

i don't know too much about rap, but from a literary stand point, i'd rank him pretty high. he's got masterful use of devices, like aliiteration, metaphors, and similes. and he just spits stuff i never would have thought of.
