I always hear about the big difference in the ratio of boys to girls at the Mecca. Is the difference really that much. If so how do relationships last? Do most people at the Mecca get in relationships or just friends?

Yea the Ratio @ Howard when it comes males to females is about 14 to 1 or 16 to 1.... But! You only notice it in classrooms...especially being a nursing major...AINT NO BOYS in my classes....
Usually in the general classes Sociology, psychology, Math, English etc. it will be a mixture... But You don't hardly realize it when your walking around or when your in the Cafe...
As Far AS relationships goes I remember an upperclassmen saying that you harldy see any but there are a few...But majority of people are just cool **** friends and some look for relationships wants the get they goals and careers @ Howard Established...
Personally I like to have friends first...Like i'm mad cool w/ The boys in Class of 07' and with many upper classmen... and thru all of convo's relationships was never a topic. Like we may have talked about it but it was never directed to each other that they wanted to be with me or I wanted to be with them.

yeah ya dont notice it till ya get in class and all...but most of the guys are just friends...like ive seen that the upperclassmen are the ones usually in relationships with each other, i think because by that time the guys have matured..like as a freshman the guys see the ratio and go crazy and dont really wanna be in a monogamous type thing ya know until MUCH late down the line....ive had more luck relationship wise with guys off campus from other colleges than this campus honestly
