I remember joining this site about a year and a few months ago and this site was wayyyy better. I notice for once people werent so stuck on who looks good and who doesent and it was more college oriented....
So my question is what changes have u noticed about this site good/bad
^cosign, but maybe what changed is the fact that we arent in college anymore? this is the summer time and idle minds wander.... theres only so much ish you can talk about before it gets old and you have to move on

The problem is that when people choose to become friends or more than friends, they cant keep what they do to themselves.You cant come on here and get mad when youre exposed for airing someone else's dirty laundry.

naah, can't agree wit cha there...
some of us have been up here since last summer....& last summer was not like this....
a lot of us were bored, yea, & came up here as a result...
but everyone was always done in fun...nothin' ever really got personal...
basically i guess 'cause most of us were just no more than a s/n to each other then :?...
but anywayz...so yea there's a difference....& nah, it ain't just 'cause it's summertime.....
nothing changed, people were just acting a certain way and once the "realness" came out, everyone thought people were changing, when in actuallity, that's how they always were if anything changed,it's the fact that people are starting to get real with one another :roll: and some peeps cant handle it
another thing is, with the new board format and individual picture threads, we got to see how ****/good looking we all really are, and that is never a good thing online lol, it used to be one place we all mingled, and then it turned into a war zone, but ive experienced things like this, a long time ago i stopped talking to ppl online after i saw the trend of ugliness... but thats all another story for another time plus the addition of the hidden forums made room for controversy and secrets, and of course prying minds like to know

Nah, when I got here it was summer time, and it was JUMPING, it was all about College, not everybody trying to cyber on the low, and talk down to EVERYBODY who is different (even that Triad cat)...I honestly think that some of the people on here are just now getting "popular" for the first time and it's going to they heads...
I think what happened to this site, is that ****'s got too personal, it was better when we barely knew each other, and we werent "friends" we were people that gathered here to talk about daily events, now we just, (not really I, lol)...but for the most part, we just back ****, and try to get ahead...I guess the real world has infultrated the board...it was only a matter of time I suppose...
Also, I think that we could've really benefited from Neosoulbrotha being around more..instead of this Aggie CEO cat who has bein driving nail after nail into the coffin of that which was once, HBCU...

Looks like some people<---notice I said some not ALL have replaced their LIFE with this website. It's a shame how serious this site is to some of these people, I know it can be addictive but come on. They act like hbcu-central is their claim-to-fame and sometimes I just cannot believe I am dealing with adults! *smh* Besides, if you don't have thousands of posts you are not relevant and therefore have no clue about anything in life :lol: Yeah they that serious :roll: :arrow:
