The online Howard Math Placement Test must have some serious errors, I've taken Pre-Calcus in High School and consider myself to be a pretty bright person.......but I'm recommended Algebra 1 !!!!!!!

I'm not too disappointed with my placement. It put me where I wanted to be. So I will be in Calculus I, and I definitely need to take calculus over again. I got sooooo lost this past year. :?
the math department is really bad.. as a general rule.. I decided to take my calc this summer at home rather than take any math @ howard....
Oh and the placement test is just a means for screwing people... i know people who got better grades in calc2 and got CAR in the test.. then again, the power went out on some people, so it only sent in like 4 answers, and they were screwed... just think of it this way..... MORE people to "study" with @ club UGL...

So you didn't take any math courses at HU or only your lower level math courses? I don't wanna go into calc I, which I know I will need hella help with, and get some stupid *ss professor that really can't teach.
I took the test and they told me Algebra I too... I took that freshman year in high school I feel kinda... bad . Lol But please tell me that's not the lowest level they have there... it's not a remedial course is it? We get credit right?
It [Algebra I] isnt the lowest level math. There is Basic Math I and II. BUT Algebra I doesnt count towards your graduation credits, only GPA and for hours.
