Help Me!!!!!!!!!!! Posted on 07-12-2004

I am so lost with my schedule!!! Are there any history or English majors in here? I'd like to know what you're taking/ took freshman year. And for everyone, are ya'll paying a lot of attention to the Divisional courses? I see some of you have them and some of you don't. For Arts and Sciences, are the following classes required in the first year: Foreign Language, Speech, PE? The way I'm planning it, I have like eight classes. Is this okay?

Oh yeah, I forgot one. Should I just wait until I get up there so I can talk to someone or should I try to work it out now?

Call the school and speak to an advisor. They should be able to help you.

Nothing is really "mandatory" to take your Freshman year....although u should take freshman 002 english.........my advise for you is to speak with your Advisor in the Educational Advisory Center in Locke Hall (im not sure what the # is)...AND....speak w/ your advisor for your major (or someone in your department)...they should best be able to help you out. This is part of the reason why I have a problem w/ them letting incoming freshman register over the summer....I wonder if they sent you all any information or what not reguarding a scheme to follow. ....knowing Howard, very unlikely.

All the schemes are on each respective school's website. I found it for majors in the college of arts and science and allied health, but those are the only two that I looked for.
