usually Momma is always there but at times Daddy never was..I'm lucky cause I have a strong relationships with my pops and I'm just wondering who on HBCU has that same bond/relationship and who doesn't..
me and my dad are close... times he can be **** me, but i realize he does it b/c he actually cares... my sister's friends usually are intimidated, but he's really cool... i don't know what i'd do w/o him...
(hugs for Kisha)
Yeah, I didn't realize how fortunate that some of us are to have a dad at home. I guess it's because in my neighborhood and my schools, most of my friends had both parents at home. But after gettin to college and realizin how most people don't have a father growin up, I was a bit shocked. I remember BET sayin that 66% of all black kids grow up in a single mother household, and I didn't believe it until I got to college.
I am a daddy's girl from the cradle to the grave. My dad is like my best friend i tell him everything....mostly but no matter what happens i know i can call on dad he tells me what i wanna hear and what i dont wanna hear. he challenges my mind and we keep each other on our toes
I love my dad, and I know he loves me...We just arent very tight as we were when I was younger ...We have had problems in the past so we try to avoid any conflicts...but I know he is always there for me, and supports me in whatever I wanna do. Im closer to my mom, but she is also a lot harder than me...but my dad is just whatever I want I go to him.
*waves hand in air*
