What do you think about Valentine's day? Is it a time when it is truly acceptable to demonstrate how much you care for your loved one, or is it a marketing scheme to pressure you to prove how much you love them (by spending a lot of $?) Just curious for feedback...
The only reason why I don't think about Valentine's Day too much is because I never have anyone to spend it with. I'm always chillin' in the house, watching movies with Ben & Jerry, Reese's, and Hershey's. If I do end up having a date then I think I should have fun.
Well it's both. It's a nationally celebrated day dedicated to love. It's the perfect excuse to show more love than usual or if you haven't been showing enough. Plus it's nice to have a gift and chocolates and flowers and... you know stuff that ya SO doesn't normally get for you. Now if ya'll just realize that these gifts are good all year round then...
(sigh) another lonely day.... and another day of the anniversary of asking my stupid **** ex out... but hey, i might get lucky this year, never know...
