Question to the folks of SoC::
Is attendance mandatory at the orientation??
Do professors enforce attendance??
Well, there is basically just ONE big giant orientation class...so it's huge. Byrd is the only teacher that teaches it. It's supposed to be a freshman course, but some folks are lazy or for whatever reason didn't take it their freshmen year. So you'll see sophomores, juniors, seniors, shoot...even't "super" seniors. I'd say it has to be about 200 or so peeps. Byrd takes attendence by passing around blank papers & and u sign your ID # and name. If you're bad like me...u can set up a system with a homie...and they can sign u in oneday u guys can rotate and u sign her/him in the following. Just make sure someone takes notes so u can get your summaries in. Ok...WHY am i telling u this??? Don't be like me, get ya edumacation.
here's mine.......

I had African American Hist. with Woods last semester. He's a young guy and in grad school. U won't have to do any work. Just going to have a few tests (which are fairly easy) and a group project. The class pretty much consists of group discussions...which seem to always be off topic, but pretty interesting for the most part. After awhile tho, Woods is going to start sounding like a broken record with the whole "we spend too much money on bling blind & rims, than on paying our bills". I mean, the first 5 times you're feeling him, but after that you're like "OKAY ALREADY!"
